Ghana Off To Play South Africa In 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

Ghana Black Stars squad have departed from Ghana to South Africa to play their second group game in the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

A total of Twenty-five (25) Players made the trip to face the Bafana Bafana team on Monday September 6.

This comes after they defeated their group opponent the Ethiopians at the cape coast sports stadium on Friday September 3 by a goal to nil.

Ghana will miss players like Daniel Amartey, Jordan Ayew, Jeffrey Schlupp, Andy Yiadom, Baba Rahman, Braydon Manu and Daniel Kofi Kyereh due to Coronavirus traveling restrictions.

The game is scheduled to take place at the iconic FNB Stadium on Monday, 6th September 2021.

Goalkeeper: Richard Ofori, Richard Attah, Manaf Nurudeen, Lawrence Ati-Zigi

Defenders: Fatawu Mohammed, Philemon Baffour, Gideon Mensah, Abdul Ismail Ganiyu, Alexander Djiku, Jonathan Mensah, Samuel Ashie Quaye, Joseph Aidoo.

Midfielders: Mubarak Wakaso, Baba Iddrisu, Emmanuel Lomotey, Majeed Ashimeru, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Samuel Owusu, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Yaw Yeboah.

Forwards: Andre Ayew, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Joel Fameyeh, Kwame Opoku, Emmanuel Gyasi.
