Celebrated media practitioner Anita Akua Kyerewaa Kuma, has officially ended her stay with Multimedia Group Limited, after a seventeen (17) years with the media giant.
Before her exit “Queen of the Airwaves” with her grit, charisma, and warm voice, served as anchor for several flagship shows on the Luv FM platform, including the “Luv Slow Jam”, the “Weekend City Show”, “Metropolitan Mix”, “Lunchtime Rhythms”, “Showbiz Extra” and finally “Waves”.

Announcing her exit on her show on Monday, January 31, 2022, which was her last working day shared a tearful goodbye message with her former colleagues and fan base on live radio.
“It’s extremely bittersweet. I am excited about the next challenge but, just like leaving home, it is very painful. Change though is the only constant thing”, she stated.
Touching on the prospects of the industry for existing and upcoming players, the celebrated radio personality urged them “to appreciate the blessings and opportunities they have on radio, make it a fun ride whiles it last and be remembered for positive impact.”
Anita further challenged them to study and develop their craft, be confident and flow naturally as “radio is an exciting venture.”

Anita Akua Kyerewaa Kuma (born in the 1980s) is a Ghanaian media personality, a radio journalist. She is the host for Lunchtime Rhythms on Kumasi’s most listened to English radio station, Luv FM.
She was listed as number three of 10 on-air personalities in Ghana for 2018 which was put together by the Business Insider, operators of Pulse Ghana.
Kuma was born in Kumasi in the early 1980s to D.O.K. Kuma who was a geologist and his wife Victoria. She attended Wesley Girls Senior High School and graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Building Technology.
Kuma has about 17 years of experience working in radio. She is currently the host for Lunchtime Rhythms on Kumasi’s most listened Ashanti radio station, Luv FM.
She was nominated for Radio and Television Personality Awards (Radio Female Presenter of the Year in 2016.
