Joselpho Barnes Speaks On Black Stars Abysmal Performance At AFCON2021

Ghanaian born international Joselpho Barnes, has spoken about the recent poor performance of Ghana Black Stars at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.

The senior national team led by captain Dede Ayew failed to win a single game in the group stage and was kicked out with just a point after losing two games against Morocco and Camoros and drawing with Gabon.

Barnes former U-20 player in an interview with Sports journalist (Otegha Morefans) said he was disappointed.

” I felt very bad for the team because, I know how it feels to disappoint Ghanaians. But this is football you have setbacks and then you have to get up fast to prove everyone wrong.”

Also we are playing World Cup playoff against our rivals Nigeria next Month “With this Current performance of Black Stars we won’t stand a chance against Nigeria.” We have to learn from our mistakes from the current matches and then do better.

Nigeria has very good individual players that can only be beaten with the right Team Spirit.

Joselpho Barnes was part of the U-20  team that won Gold for Ghana in Mouritania 2021  and netted 4 goals

Due to his hard work he was promoted to U-23 side that played double header against South Korea and Japan in friendly game and scored 1 goal.

The Super star was able to challenged in Germany Bundisliga side Schalke 04  played 73 games  last season 2021 before joining his new Club Riga FC in Litland in this season 2022.

In Barnes  conversation with Sports journalist (Otegha Morefans) In his statement” my vision is to score as many goals as possible and do the next step to one of the biggest clubs in Europe and for sure to reach the Black Stars.
