Dennis Nkrumah Korsah of Accra Hearts of Oak defender, has earned a late call up for the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON].
After yesterday’s game with Madagascar the team will travel to play Central African Republic [CAR] on Sunday, June 1.
Korsah is expected to fight for a place in the team ahead of Sunday’s clash.
The 26-year-old earned his first national team call-up in March this year ahead of Ghana’s World Cup play-off against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
This is how his club Hearts announced the news on Twitter;
Ghana begun their 2023 AFCON qualifying with a sweet victory by scoring 3-0 against Madagascar at the Cape Coast Stadium on Wednesday night, June 1. The Stars now top the Group E table.
The Black Stars are now in Accra to continue preparation for the game against the Central African Republic on Sunday and are expected to leave the shores of the country on Friday morning.
